H1 in an A tag or doing the opposite. I was doing the usual research on Google and never really found a definitive answer.

I ended up coming up with the answer myself. Placing an H1 tag within an A tag will not validate as XHTML. Instead, you must put the link inside of the heading tag.

It's a small tip, but I hope it helps.

I can read.

I have never been a big reader. The only books I had read in the past were ones for school, most of which I never completed anyway. I do remember enjoying Eric Wilson books when I was in grade school. From then on I only read parts of books, certain magazine articles, and stuff online. I think a big part of the problem was that I found novels pointless. I was recently lent a copy of "The Perfect Store" a book written by Adam Cohen about the inception of eBay. For some reason, I could not stop reading this book. It really opened my eyes to the fact that, although the timing of eBay was perfect, there are some ideas that are so basic that can prove to be so lucrative.

I started using Blogger and although the system was nice, overall the templates were not great and I simply lost interest. I heard some good things about WordPress, so I decided to give it a try. I ran into a few tiny problems with it, but I think they are all fixed. So I think this is it. My blog.
